Golden opportunities and forgotten treasures

How needful we are in Ramadan to take practical measures and utilize the golden opportunities and forgotten treasures that can bring us closer to Allah The Almighty. After doing them, one feels that he has done something small but gained many benefits, and received rewards like mountains from doing simple actions that only require a limited effort, aspiring for the Mercy and Paradise of Allah The Almighty.

 

Reward
Whoever fasts one day only for the sake of Allah
Allah will keep him at a seventy years’ distance from the Hellfire.
Whoever asks forgiveness for believing men and believing women 
Allah will write for him a good deed for every believing man and woman that exists.
Whoever says Subhaan Allah Al ‘Atheem wa bi Hamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah the Almighty)
A palm tree will be planted for him in Paradise. 
Who performs Wudhoo’ (ablution) then says: Ash-hadu alla ilaaha illa-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu was rasooluh (I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah Alone, He has no partner or associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His Slave and Messenger)
The eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him and he will enter through whichever one he chooses.
Whoever says: Laa ilaaha illa-Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer (There is no god but Allah Alone, He has no partner or associate. His is the sovereignty and to Him be praise, and He Is over all things Competent) one hundred times in a day
will have (a reward) equivalent to freeing ten slaves, one hundred Hasanaat (good deeds) will be added to his record for him and one hundred Sayyi’aat (bad deeds) will be erased from his record, and he will be protected from Shaytaan (Satan) for that day until the evening comes. No one can do anything better than what he did except one who does more than that.
Whoever recites Soorat Al-Ikhlaas ten times
Allah The Almighty will build a house for him in Paradise.
Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, then sits remembering and mentioning Allah until the sun rises, then prays two Rak’ahs (units),
will have a complete reward like that of Hajj and ‘Umrah.
Whoever recites Soorat Al-Ikhlaas
will receive the reward of reciting one third of the Noble Quran.
Whoever says Subhaan Allah wa bi hamdihi (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day
will be forgiven all his sins - even if they are as much as the foam of the sea.

Whoever asks Allah to exalt the mention of the Prophet,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ), once
Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.
Whoever performs Wudhoo’ perfectly then prays two Rak’ahs in which he focuses completely on his prayer
all his previous sins will be forgiven.
Whoever prays Al-Bardayn (‘Asr and Fajr)
will enter Paradise.
Any Muslim who prays twelve Rak‘ahs of supererogatory prayer for the sake of Allah The Almighty each day and night
Allah will build a house for him in Paradise.
 
Performing ‘Umrah in Ramadan
is equivalent to performing Hajj or to performing Hajj with the Messenger of Allah,  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ).
Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast
will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the reward of the one who fasted.
Whoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwaal
it will be as if he fasted for the entire year.
Whoever says, La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billaah (there is no strength and no power except with Allah)
will receive one of the treasures of Paradise.
Whoever says: “Radheetu Billaahi rabban wa bil-Islami deenan wa bi Muhammadin  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ) Nabiyyan wa Rasoolan (I am content with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ) as my Prophet and Messenger.”
He will deserve to enter Paradise and Allah will certainly please him.
Whoever attends a funeral until the deceased has been buried
will have a reward the size of two great mountains.
Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah (the Quran)
will earn a Hasanah i.e. one good deed thereby, and that one good deed will be multiplied by ten.
Whoever runs his hand over the head of an orphan
his sins will fall out from between his fingers.
Whoever conceals (the fault of) a Muslim 
Allah will conceal him (his faults) in this world and in the Hereafter.
Whoever removes a worldly hardship from his fellow Muslim
Allah will remove one of the hardships of the Day of Resurrection from him.
Whoever says Subhaan Allah wa bi hamdih, la quwwata illa billaah, maa shaa’ Allahu kaan wa maa lam yashaa’ lam yakun (Glory and praise be to Allah The Almighty; there is no power but with Allah The Almighty; what Allah wills comes to pass and what He does not will does not come to pass) in the morning and evening
he will be guarded till the evening and till the morning.
Whoever recites the verse of Al-Kursi (the Chair) before sleeping
will have a protector from Allah until morning comes.
