I had given some amount in poor,as it was informed to me by our guide." Was that sufficient or what more i had/have to do? "Please Guide us in the light of Hadith and Quran.JazakAllahuQairan.
Fatwa:
All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
Spending the night in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq (i.e. the 10
th, 11
th, and 12
th of Thul-Hijjah) is one of the obligations of Hajj, as discussed in Fatwa
89360. However, if a pilgrim does not spend the night there because of a sound reason, then according to the most preponderant opinion of the scholars
he is not required to do anything.
Therefore, if you did not spend the night in Mina due to extreme tiredness to an extent that you were not able to go there, then we hope that you are not sinful for not spending the night there and you are not required to do anything. However, if you give a Mudd (i.e. the weight of two-thirds of a kilogram) of food to the poor then this is better. However, since you already gave some money in charity, then this is sufficient, Allah willing.
Allah Knows best.
