Convoy from Turkey protests Israel, planned to reach to Golan

The car convoy demonstration started on Saturday. Turkish people left from Istanbul for Golan Heights with cars to support Gaza.

The convoy has planned to protest Israel at Golan Heights where is the border between Syria and Israel.

According to numbers that police announced, 1873 cars passed on Bosphorus, joining the convoy. The number of cars from Anatolian cities rose. Scores of cars have been expected to join the demonstration from eastern cities of Turkey.

Husnu Kilic, head of the Solidarity Association, said that "We think that this is the shame against humanity to watch the massacre in Gaza without doing anything. We invite everybody to join this convoy to voice their feelings."

Everyone can join the convoy with their own cars, from wherever they want.

The convoy will reach on January 11 to Syria. It will continue till Golan Heights together with Syrian participants if the necessary formalities can be overcome.

The route has been planned to follow Halab (Aleppo), Hama and Humus.
