The Messenger was the loftiest example of loyalty and returning favors. He was extremely loyal to his sincere wife, both during her life and after her death. He gave her the glad tidings of having a house in Paradise and communicated the greetings of Allah The Almighty to her, as well as the greetings of Jibreel (Gabriel), may Allah exalt his mention. In a Hadeeth on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, Jibreel, may Allah exalt his mention, came to the Prophet and said,
Messenger of Allah, this is Khadeejah coming to you with a vessel of food or drink. When she comes to you, offer her greetings from her Lord, the Almighty Allah, and on my behalf as well - and give her glad tidings of a palace of pearls in Paradise wherein there is neither noise and nor toil. [Muslim]
‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, would remember the loyalty that the Prophet showed to Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her, after her death by saying,
I never felt as jealous of any of the wives of the Prophet as much as I did of Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her, even though I did not see her. The Prophet would mention her very often, and whenever he slaughtered a sheep, he would cut it into parts and send a part to the female friends of Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her. When I would say to him, “It is as if there was no woman on earth except Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her!” He would say: “I had my children with Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her.” [Al-Bukhari]
Also, the Prophet would be delighted when a sister of Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her, asked for permission to enter into his presence, as she reminded him of Khadeejah. It is narrated on the authority of ‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, that she said, “Haalah bint Khuwaylid once came and sought permission from the Messenger to see him, and he was reminded of Khadeejah’s [manner of] asking for permission to enter and was delighted at that, and thus said: “O Allah, let it be Haalah bint Khuwaylid!” I therefore felt jealous and said, “Why do you remember an old woman of the Quraysh with red gums who has been dead for a long time, when Allah has given you a better one?” [Muslim]
Moreover, the Prophet would show hospitality to a women who would visit them when Khadeejah, may Allah be pleased with her, was alive and thus asserted that loyalty is part of faith.
