At least two occupation soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb in Tikrit on Saturday, the U.S. military said.
The bomb detonated as the soldiers were patrolling in the center of Tikrit, about 110 miles north of Baghdad, in an armored Humvee shortly before dawn, senior military spokesman told.

Separately, the US army division based in Tikrit said it had captured 11 suspects and confiscated various weapons - including five rocket-propelled-grenade launchers and 50 mortar rounds - during raids and patrols in the region between Wednesday and Friday.
On Thursday the 1st Battalion of the 21st Infantry Regiment discovered and destroyed 19 rockets that had been aimed at a forward operating base in the northern city of Kirkuk, the 4th Infantry Division said.
On the same day, local children led a US battalion to a site where two rocket-propelled-grenade launchers were located east of a second operating base.
