Storms Lash Balkans

Six people have died and a child is missing after severe floods in Romania.

Many roads have been cut off by heavy rain over the past 24 hours, farmland has been flooded and houses and bridges have been swept away.

Lightning killed two miners and four people have drowned.

Meteorologists predict the rain will continue for another 24 hours.

In Bulgaria, four people have died after being struck by lightning as violent storms lashed the south and east of the country.
And in Bosnia, torrential rain forced more than a 100 families to leave their homes.

There have been no reported casualties but power and phone lines have been cut.
