All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
If the husband commits some sins, then his wife should be patient with him and supplicate Allaah to facilitate his repentance. She should also advise him as much as possible as a way of being affectionate to him and being keen to guide him, as he may become righteous thanks to her; by doing so, she will get the good of this world and that of the Hereafter. However, it is not permissible for a wife to ask her husband to divorce her just because he sins, because everyone sins.
The Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: "I swear by The One in Whose Hands my soul is (i.e. Allaah), if you do not commit sins, Allaah will replace you with other people who would sin and seek His Forgiveness, and He will forgive them." [Muslim] However, if the sin which your husband commits harms you, then you are permitted to ask for divorce due to the harm caused to you.
