Performed Umrah and wants to stay for the Hajj season, must he perform Tawaaf Al-Qudoom?

Question:

I want to perform ‘Umrah during the month of Ramadhaan and also want to stay until Hajj is due. Should I make Tawaaf Al-Qudoom (arrival circumambulation) while in Makkah?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

You are not required to make Tawaaf Al-Qudoom as long as you are staying in Makkah if you arrive there for ‘Umrah during the month of Ramadan, terminate the state of Ihraam for ‘Umrah, and then stay in Makkah for Hajj.
