Alcohol-free drinks produced by a company which produces alcoholic drinks

Question:

Asalam alaikum. Is it haram to buy and drink non-alcoholic natural malt drink and which is made by a company that makes and sales alcoholic drink such as bear and wine. Thank you
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

 

If the drink is alcohol-free, then it is permissible to buy it from the company which produces and sells other alcoholic drinks. The evidence about this is that the Muslims used to trade with the people of the book despite knowing that they sell unlawful food and drinks and deal with Riba (interest and/or usury) in their trade.
