All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Adding and showing the translation of the meaning of the verses of the Quran when it is being recited is permissible; rather, this is something desirable in those environments where the Arabic language is not understood by the people. Therefore, reading the translation of the meanings of the Quran will help them ponder over them. Indeed, the most important objective for which the Quran was revealed is for the people to ponder over it. Allaah Says (what means): {[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad ], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.}[Quran 38:29] Allaah also Says (what means): {Then do they not reflect upon the Quran, or are there locks upon [their] hearts?}[Quran 47:24]
On the other hand, it should be mentioned that this translation should be taken from some reliable books in this field, because it is not easy to translate the meanings of the Quran and render them with a perfect accuracy; therefore, one should consult the experienced people.
