Question:
Does the deceased woman know during her life in Barzakh whether her husband in the worldly life will be her husband in the Hereafter; if they are both righteous?
Answer:
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.
A Muslim should exert every effort to do righteous deeds and urge his family and relatives to be righteous and pious so that they all enter Paradise. He should preoccupy himself with learning what benefits him and brings him nearer to Allaah The Almighty, such as prayer, fasting and other acts of worship in Islam.
Barzakh (life in the grave) is one of the issues that is related to the Hereafter, and revelation is the only way to know about the issues of the Hereafter. However, there is no evidence either affirming or negating that a deceased wife in the Barzakh will know whether or not her husband will continue to be righteous until his death and enter Paradise. Allaah Knows best.
