Question:

with which ONE apostle did Allah speak to, as mentioned in 2.253,

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam,  is His slave and Messenger.

Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {…Among them were those to whom Allaah spoke.} [Quran 2:253] Allaah The Almighty means (by this) Moosa (Moses) may Allaah exalt his mention as He spoke to him directly; Allaah The Almighty Says (what means): {And Allaah spoke to Moses with [direct] speech.} [Quran 4:164]

Allaah The Almighty also spoke directly to our Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) on the night of his ascension to the heavens [the night of Al-Israa’ and Al-Mi’raaj].

Aadam may Allaah exalt his mention was also a prophet who was spoken to by Allaah The Almighty as mentioned in a Hadeeth (narration).

Ibn Katheer may Allaah have mercy upon him said (while interpreting the verse), “{…Among them were those to whom Allaah spoke}, means Moosa may Allaah exalt his mention and Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ). Aadam may Allaah exalt his mention was also spoken to by Allaah as in the Hadeeth reported by Ibn Hibbaan may Allaah have mercy upon him and which was narrated by Abu Tharr may Allaah be pleased with him.”

Allaah Knows best.
