Impermissible to skip classes and arrange proxy attendance

Question:

Asalamu alykum is it sinful to bunk(leave the class without teachers permission) classes? because my physics teacher doesn't teach good so i use to bunk his classes. is it sinful to make proxy during attendence?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

Skipping your classes and arranging for proxy attendance with the help of a classmate is considered lying, which is deemed forbidden in the Sharee‘ah. You should either attend the class even if you do not benefit from your teacher or skip it without arranging for proxy attendance if you believed that to be beneficial for you. But to skip classes and arrange for proxy attendance, this is impermissible.
