A confused man searching for the true religion

Question:

I am a well-off non-Muslim man, and I feel severe spiritual emptiness. I read many religious books but am still unconvinced. Please advise.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

May Allaah the Almighty guide you to Islam and open your heart to accept it.

Know that Allaah the Almighty does not accept from his servant belief in anything other than Islam. Allaah the Almighty Says (what means): {And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers.} [Quran 3:85]

Anyone who sticks to his belief in Judaism or Christianity after the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, was commissioned to spread the message of Islam is a disbeliever who will dwell eternally in Hell.

The existence of Allaah and His perfection beyond any blemish or defect has been announced in all of the divine laws. It is also something that sound minds accept as true. No one can deny it except those whose minds are unsound. This is because a created object entails the existence of a creator. If you were to ask any sensible person about whether a car, which is formed of a combination of iron, an engine, wheels and other delicate objects, was manufactured by nothing, he would laugh at you. All of the surrounding objects, including the earth, skies, trees, rivers, seas and other creatures, are evidence of the existence of Allaah the Almighty.

Allaah Knows best.
