Severely Affected With Whispers about Ritual Purity

Question:

Salam aleikom, i have been having a problem for awhile now regarding the validity of my ghusl, i as a person suffer from severe OCD, due to that i get alot of waswasa and doubts. i may have touched something najis which is on the opener of my tap, but this happened a long time ago so i don't remember if the tap opener was dry or wet or my hands was wet or dry, from what i know, dried najis doesn't transfer when it is touched. From what i know, there may be a little bit of najis on the tap opener, however i'm not 100 percent sure because it happened a long time ago. After i opened the tap, i put water into my ear canal which reached until the end of the ear canal which is where the ear drum is at, then i made sure the water went to out of my ear canal. After that i thought to myself and said that the water that i put inside my ear may be mixed with some najis. I have weird annoying OCD patterns when it comes to cleaning myself and i have to do it my way and it has to be perfect. So know i think that if there is najis inside the end of my ear canal or the deep areas of it. Know i think to myself that if there is najis in there it has defintely dried up, therefore cleaning it with a wet cotton bud to rub on it to remove the dried najis and then putting water inside the ear canal and pouring it out and putting water inside again and pouring it out and putting water inside again and pouring it out 3 times to ensure it its clean will cause me alot of hardship and stress which will only make my brain exhausted and stressed out due to the OCD that i am suffering from. My question is, if there is najis in the ear canal do i have to remove the najis, even if there is najis it will be very little, so little that u cant even see it with the naked eye, or should i only clean the exterior and interior part of it, not the ear canal during ghusl, i hope i don't have to clean the ear canal though. Please be very honest in your answer.May Allah reward you generously for your help.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

It is a clear mistake to ask us to be honest in our response, as Allah has taken a covenant from the people of knowledge to teach knowledge to the people and not to conceal it. We are not in need to deceive you or lie to you: in which case, we will cause destruction to ourselves in order to save you.

As for what you asked about, it is nothing but whispers. The tap is not impure, and impurity has not entered your ears.

All the illusions that you mentioned are not real.

The only cure for what you are suffering from is to ignore these whispers, repel them and not pay any attention to them. This is because if you continue to give in to them, you will lead yourself to destruction and will ruin your worldly life and your religion.

Therefore, we advise you to ignore these whispers, repel them and not pay any attention to them so that Allah will cure you from them.

Allah knows best.
