Husband Informs of His Intention Contrarily to his Previous Confession

Question:

I told my husband that islamweb says our talaq took place. He said talaq did not count if u abused out of anger. He also said that "I do not know when I said the condition but I know I said the condition. I know my intention for sure because I already thought if I ever say these conditional divorces this will be my intention". Sheikh I abused him due to anger. I asked him y u did not tell your intention a month before and u said talaq counted. First he said I thought u will think I am making fun of talaq. Later he said I thought u abused me deliberately to make me angry; I told u my intention if u abuse in anger talaq will not count. 2 weeks before this incident he said about his mom's conditional talaq that I will say a condition if u abuse my mother. If u get angry u can abuse; it is unfair I abuse u but u can not abuse.

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

We advised you in our previous Fatwa to present the matter to the scholars in the Islamic Center near you.

Since your husband denies some of what he had confessed beforehand and informs of his intention contrarily to what he had informed you previously, so in this case, it is mandatory to present the matter to the scholars at the Islamic Center so that they can know the details and verify the intention of the husband, and then issue to you a Fatwa according to his intention.
