All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
It is not permissible to teach subjects that glorify polytheism and its people, and the subjects that violate the Islamic Sharee'ah.
In priciple, these subjects should be forbidden from teaching, because teaching them involves deceiving students and propagating falsehood. Some of this falsehood may affect the heart of the students, and as a result they would consider it as good and consequently they will be led astray.
The Sharee’ah has urged us to flee from places of suspicion, let alone displaying explicit falsehood to the people.
If teaching these subjects is compulsory, then one must, first of all, contact the Ministry of Education and advise them to prevent teaching them, if only for the Muslim students.
If they do not respond, then one should be limited to teaching the minimum of what the students need without explaining all the false ideologies, while it is compulsory to clarify the falsehood of polytheism that they include and refute the misconceptions that are in them, and also clarify the truth that the sound Sharee’ah has brought to us.
