Using Dotted, Ribbed, and Spiked Condoms

Question:

Salam,
Are different kind of high textured condoms such as dotted,ribbed,spiked condoms designed to create sensation artificially permissible? dotted condoms are being used commonly in our country. Probably, many muslims use it.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

We have not come across any statement of the scholars about the ruling on using this specific type of condoms.

Nonetheless, it appears to us – Allah knows best – that it is like any other condom; it is permissible to use them if one is safe from any harm, and provided it is used with the consent of the wife. The fact that it creates an additional feeling does not prevent from using them Islamically.
