All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
If the employee adheres to the time agreed upon in the contract, then there is no harm on him in benefitting from what he is given in return for that, even if the work is little or that he has not been assigned tasks to do during the time of work.
Kash-Shaaf Al-Qinaa’ reads (what implies) ‘that if the employee comes to his place of work and has not been assigned by the employer any (type of) work that he has to do, then he deserves his wages.’
However, it is not permissible for him to write in the reports what is contrary to the reality, like mentioning that he has accomplished some types of work while in reality he did not accomplish them: this is forbidden and he must stop doing that in the future. Even if the official orders his to write such things, the employee does not have to obey him in that because this is forbidden lying and forbidden forgery.
Each party must to carry out its responsibilities fully, and it should not hide the facts from those responsible for these projects and works.
