Purity of Impurity of Water That Falls on Toilet Seat when Cleaning Oneself

Question:

Is the water that I am using to clean myself najas if it falls onto the toilet seat?
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

The water that is scattered from washing the impurity if it is changed by it, then it is considered impure, and if it is not changed by the impurity, then it is pure. In this case, if it falls on the toilet seat or something else, it does not render it impure.

Shaykh Khaleel al-Maaliki said in his book at-Tawdeeh:

“With regard to what is washed by impurity if it has been changed (by it), then it is impure, and what has not been changed is pure. If it has been changed, there is no doubt that it is impure, whether it has been changed by color, taste or smell; and if it has not been changed, then it is pure” [End of quote]
