All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
It is permissible for a person of this age to seek any religious knowledge or any branches (sections) of its category because the texts where knowledge seeking is encouraged did not specify an age for that and did not limit it to one aspect of this science to the exclusion of the other. Allah Says (what means): {… and say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”} [Quran 20:114]
Besides, Mu’awiyah said: “I heard the Prophet saying: “If Allah wishes good for a person, He makes him comprehend the religion.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
This is while considering the progression in seeking knowledge by starting with the study of short books and graduating thereafter to what is more significant than it; this helps you to understand and memorize. However, the request for knowledge should be at the hands of a well-versed Sheikh.
