Question:

if you answer a question by looking at a clue in your hand in a interview if you got the job then the money will be halal or haram? Or should i join this job.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

Deception and cheating are forbidden by Islamic law (Sharee'ah), and the evidence for their prohibition is abundant. It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayra may Allaah be pleased with him that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “He who treats us dishonestly does not belong to us.” [Sahih Muslim]

Accordingly, whoever falls into something of cheating and deception must repent to Allah the Almighty, regret what he did, resolve not to return to it, and seek forgiveness from Allah the Almighty.

As for the salary: If the person is qualified for the job and performs his work as required of him, then the salary is permissible for him.

Allah knows best.
