All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
As for the marriage to a non-Muslim woman, it is lawful under the conditions that she be a Christian or a Jew and not an atheist and that she should not be known for adultery or fornication.
However, you should have two things in mind:
First, looking for an ideal woman with all the associated criteria is a mistake because it is almost impossible to find one like that. You should however, look for some priority criteria in choosing your future wife: religion, progeny, nobility, beauty, and morals. All these things have or would have some influence on your relationship as well as your future children.
Second, you should know that marrying a non-Muslim woman poses a great danger on your religious practice and the children as those who have done so have experienced. So ask them if you are in doubt.
Allaah Knows best.
