Fluid from the Uterus and Ablution

Question:

Does the white fluid coming from the uterus spoil one's Wudu? Do I have to make another Wudu for each prayer when I have this fluid?

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.

The discharge which comes out from a woman's female organ is of two kinds.

First, the discharge that comes out from her urinary tract: this is impure.

Second, the discharge that comes from her uterus which is called vaginal discharges: this is pure. She is not required to wash it. However, both the pure and impure discharges invalidate the ablution; because what exits from the front or rear private parts annul the ablution regardless of its purity or impurity. The exit of the mentioned discharges invalidates the ablution only; the woman is not required to perform Ghusl (ritual bath).

Whenever the discharges exit from a woman, she needs to perform ablution and wash the remains of that discharge out from her body and clothes. It is safer to wash the discharge even if it comes from the vagina.

If the discharge always continues and does not stop for a period which is enough to perform the prayer, she should wash her private parts, apply something absorbent to them, perform ablution at the beginning time of the prayer, and then perform the obligatory prayer and as many supererogatory prayers as she wishes (with this ablution). Her ablution will not become nil even though the discharge continues during the prayer.

If there is a usual pause in this discharge in which she can perform the prayer, then she should wait till that time to perform the prayer. But if she fears that the prescribed time of a given prayer will expire, then she should perform the prayer following the steps previously mentioned.
