Praying on one's desk

Question:

Is it okay to make Salat at my desk because there is no other place here at work to pray?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions. If you can carryout all the Arkan (integral parts of the prayer) on the table then performing prayer on the table is permissible. However, it is more desirable to spread a rug on the floor of your office and perform the prayers on it (if possible). Allah knows best.
