Effect of pictures on angels and prayers

Question:

If our home have our image photograph hanged on the wall it seems angels will not enter the house and all our prayers in the house will not be carried up by angels to Allah. Is this true? Please explain.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

The ruling about hanging and exposing photograph is already discussed in Fatwa 82040.

The exposing of photographs and pictures does not prevent the acceptance of supplications (Du’a) or other acts of worship as there is no evidence proving that.
