Location of the Dajjal

Question:

Does Maseeh Dajjal come out from the Black Sea?
Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

 

It is confirmed in the Sunnah that the Al-Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will come out from the east in a land called Khurasaan, and precisely in Asbahaan (currently Iran). The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "Al-Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will come out from the east in a land called Khurasaan." [At-Tirmithi] Imaam Ahmad may Allaah have mercy upon him reported the narration with the following wording: "Al-Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will come out from the Jews of Asbahaan." However, we have not come across any statement of scholars that Al-Dajjal will come out from the Black Sea. It is worth mentioning that a Muslim should be concerned in acquiring the knowledge that will protect him from afflictions and tribulations in general; this could be achieved by remaining steadfast on the obedience of Allaah, not committing acts of disobedience, and being keen on seeking and acquiring religious knowledge.
