All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
1) What a woman spends on her husband or offers to him without expressing whether it is a gift or a loan depends on her intention. If she intended to offer it as a gift, then it is not permissible for her to take it back after it had become his property. However, if she had intended to take it back in the future, then it is permissible for her to take it back. So it is permissible for her in this case only to give this money to her poor husband with the intention of getting rid of the money of that company to which she owes money, on the condition that it is not possible to find that company or to send the money to it.
2) If a father gives his son money other than Zakat money in order to help him to get married, then this is better than giving it to others, because giving alms to a relative is considered as a charity in addition to keeping ties with kinship, as it is confirmed by the Prophet . But it is not correct to give Zakat to the children and grandchildren, even if that is for the purpose of marriage.
Allaah knows best.
