All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, we thank you for visiting our site and we thank you for your good intention and for your wish to embrace Islam. This proves your wisdom and sound reasoning, and that you are guided to the Fitrah - Allaah's Islamic Monotheism with which He has created mankind.
The Prophet, () said: "Every child is born on Fitrah (human disposition to worship Allaah alone). It is his parents who make him/her a Jew, a Christian or a Magi."
Therefore, we advise you to take the initiative to embrace Islam in order to be successful and happy in this worldly life and in the Hereafter, to utter the Two Testimonies of Faith, and then abide by the Islamic rites like establishing the prayer, fasting and so forth.
As regards your question, there is no doubt that having children is a blessing and a reason for happiness. Having children is a right of both spouses and we do not know the reason why your husband does not want children. So we advise you to find out the reasons. However, it might be that he does not want children because you are not a Muslim and he fears that you would influence them and bring them up according to a religion other than Islam.
