All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.
There are countless educational and ethical values in chapter An-Noor [Quran 24], like all other chapters of the Quran. Among these values are the following:

- Spending for Allaah's Sake.
- The etiquettes of asking permission.
- Inciting people to lower the gaze.
- Condemning slander and calling people to tell the truth.
- Giving examples and similitude's so that the concepts would be better engraved in one's mind.
- The scientific miracles of the Quran.
- Condemning accusing chaste women of adultery or fornication.
- Condemning adultery and fornication.
- Teaching the rulings of cursing, so that there would be a way out to both spouses.
