Question:

Islam is a comprehensive religion, so is this something proven by evidence and which no one can deny, to an extent that we may say that whoever denies that Islam is valid for all times and all places is out of the fold of Islam, like the one who denies the prayer.

Answer:

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

Islam is a comprehensive religion and is valid for all times and all places, and it is a religious obligation to believe in this and that it fulfils all humane requirements, either religious or worldly, and whoever thinks otherwise, and that Islam is valid for a particular time only, or for a call of people only and not for all other classes of people, or that other religions are more suitable for people and fulfil their needs better than Islam, then he has become a non-Muslim and is out of the fold of Islam. That is because such belief entails belying the text of revelation which clearly states that the religion is complete, and that it fulfils the person's religious and worldly needs. Such belief also despises this religion and the status of the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) who brought this religion. Therefore, this belief renders the person a non-Muslim, and this is something known by absolute evidence and which no one can deny.

Therefore, whoever denies that this religion is comprehensive with the definition that we have mentioned, he is an apostate and a non-Muslim.

Allaah Knows best.
