Service agreement and apps privacy policy
To subscribe to the services of Islamweb, please read the following agreement carefully.
Definitions
Service Provider (Owner):
Islamweb (Islamweb.net), an electronic platform affiliated with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in the State of Qatar, will hereinafter be referred to as the "Owner."
Service:
The services provided on the Islamweb platform include messaging services, website membership, and mobile message subscription. These services are exclusively owned by the Owner and will hereinafter be referred to as the "Service."
This Service is available to all individuals, entities, and institutions without any form of discrimination. The primary goal of the Service is to inform users about website updates and gather their opinions through surveys. Subscribers are prohibited from using the mobile messaging service for illegal or unlawful purposes, such as threatening others, causing harm, or engaging in abusive or defamatory conduct. Subscribers may not use the Service to send messages to others without their consent (e.g., threat and revile SMS). Any such misuse of the Service will result in immediate termination by the Owner, who holds no responsibility for unauthorized use by the subscriber. The use of the Service by both the subscriber and the Owner must adhere to the terms listed in this agreement and be based on principles of good faith, as well as the commonly accepted standards and practices of internet users worldwide.
Service Agreement:
All terms in this document, as well as any future amendments, are collectively referred to as the "Agreement."
Subscriber:
Any individual or entity wishing to subscribe to Islamweb services is hereinafter referred to as the "Subscriber."
General Provisions:
1. This Agreement contains all the legal provisions necessary for subscribing to the Service and supersedes any prior contracts, agreements, or texts related to the Service.
Subscriber Obligations
1. Internet Subscription:
All obligations associated with accessing the internet fall on the Subscriber.

2. Providing Accurate Information:
Upon subscription, the Subscriber must provide accurate information to the best of their knowledge and update it as necessary.

3. Compliance with Ethical Use:
The Subscriber must adhere to ethical and lawful practices when using the Service, avoiding actions that cause harm to others or involve unlawful purposes.

4. Prohibition of Unlawful Use:
The Subscriber may not use the Service for abusive, threatening, or defamatory purposes or to harass others without their consent.

5. Network Integrity:
The Subscriber must not interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service.

6. Non-Interference with Others:
The Subscriber must not disrupt network operations connected to the Service.

7. Password and Account Security:
The Subscriber is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and must notify the Owner immediately of any unauthorized access.

8. Liability for Transactions:
Any agreements or contracts made by the Subscriber through or because of the Service are their responsibility, and the Owner bears no liability.

9. Non-Commercial Use:
The Service is for personal use only and may not be sold or transferred to others.

10. Disclosure of Information:

  • The Subscriber grants the Owner the right to disclose subscription information when required by law or for legal proceedings.
  • The Owner may share data with reputable global partners to enhance service offerings without compromising privacy.

Owner Rights
1. Service Fees:
While messaging services are currently free, the Owner reserves the right to impose fees for additional services in the future.

2. Communication:
The Owner may contact Subscribers to inform them about new services, updates, or advertisements.

3. Amendments:
The Owner reserves the right to amend the terms of this Agreement.

4. Termination of Service:
The Owner has the right to terminate any user's access to Islamweb without prior notice.

5. Liability Disclaimer:
The Owner is not responsible for any unlawful use of the Service by Subscribers.

Privacy Policy for the App
1. No Personal Data Collection:
  • The app does not collect, store, or process any personal data from its users.
  • Users can access and utilize the app's features without providing personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.

2. Data Security:

  • As the app does not collect personal data, there is no risk of data exposure or unauthorized access.

3. Cookies and Tracking:

  • The app does not use cookies, tracking technologies, or analytics tools that gather user information.

4. Third-Party Services:

  • The app does not integrate with third-party services that require the sharing or processing of user data.

5. Transparency Commitment:

  • The app ensures full transparency regarding its data usage practices, with no hidden mechanisms for data collection.

6. Compliance with Laws:

  • The app adheres to global standards for privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws, ensuring user anonymity and security.
This policy guarantees that users can use the app with complete confidence in their privacy and security.

Applicable Laws

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Qatar and interpreted in good faith, in line with global internet standards and practices.
