Question
I would like to send me the hadith in which mention that soon an era will come the people wil like wealth but they will forget Hesab they will like ladies but they will forget Hoor of janah they will like beautiful houses but they will forget graves ........... oh kama qala s.a.w.s ?
Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
Among the Ahaadeeth that were asked to the Permanent Committee of Iftaa' (issuing Fataawa) is a Hadeeth with the following wording: “A time will come on my nation whereby they would love five things and would forget five things:
1. They would love the creation and would forget the Creator.
2. They would love wealth and would forget the Reckoning.
3. They would like sins and would forget repentance.
4. They would like palaces and would forget the graves.
5. They would love this worldly life and would forget the Hereafter.
The Committee was asked about these Ahaadeeth and they replied by saying: “We did not find these Ahaadeeth in any book of the books of Sunnah, and we do not know any evidence for them after having searched about them.”
Indeed, we have looked for this Hadeeth in the resource books of Sunnah that we have at hand, but it seems that it is fabricated and a lie.”
