Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.

The majority of Muslim scholars are of the opinion that a Muslim can work for a Kafir. Some scholars stipulate that the work should be limited only to the common services, such as dressmaking, building, etc. If the work includes personal services such as presenting food, and the like, then such work is not allowed. The reason is that such work is a kind of humiliation and a Muslim should avoid humiliating himself especially in front of a Kafir.
