Question
I work in a firm that has a Kafir management, and I cannot find any job in any Muslim firm. The management is benefited by my work. Am I doing something against Islam? How can I set a Balance?
Answer
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the World; and may His blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his Family and Companions.
A Muslim is not permitted to work in utilities that may make him commit some prohibited deeds.
So, such a Muslim should leave that utility and search for another work.
Allah Says (interpretation of meaning): {… And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine …} [65: 2-3].
For sure, whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, He will compensate him with what is better and more beneficial.
