HIGHLIGHTSThe Four Victims Fall in Gaza, Nablus, Near Jenin and Hebron, Al-Khalil|| One of the Victims Imran Abu Ramdieh, 18, Beaten to Death by Occupation Soldiers|| Israel's Central Elections Committee Bars Ahmad Tibi, Leading Arab-Israeli MP and Former Advisor to Arafat from Running in Israeli Elections in January||STORY:
A Palestinian resistance man disguised as an Israeli occupation soldier was shot dead in a skirmish on the Gaza-Israel border, while in the West Bank three more men were killed by Israeli occupation soldiers, including one who was apparently beaten to death.

In the latest violence in the 27-month conflict, a Palestinian armed with grenades and two assault rifles cut through the fence isolating the Gaza Strip from Israel and opened fire on a patrol, which killed him without suffering any casualties.

In Nablus, a Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces reoccupying the northern West Bank city.

Palestinian officials said he was throwing rocks at the occupation soldiers, while the occupation army claimed he had lobbed a petrol bomb at border policemen.

Two other people were injured, one critically, in the clashes in the city centre, which like the rest of the West Bank was reoccupied by Israel six months ago.

To the north near Jenin, a 37-year-old Palestinian schoolteacher was shot dead by an Israeli occupation soldier after his car smashed into an occupation army jeep, slightly wounding an Israeli occupation army officer.

One of the occupants of the jeep, which was overturned by the collision, thought the driver was armed and about to attack, and shot him dead. He was later found to have been unarmed.

It was not immediately clear if the smash was an accident.

And late Monday, medical sources said a young Palestinian man was beaten to death in the divided southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Imran Abu Ramdieh, 18, was picked up by Israeli occupation troops patrolling the city in a jeep. He was later found with a serious head wound inside the city and taken to a hospital where he died, they said. In the southern West Bank, Israeli occupation forces also destroyed the homes of two Palestinian college students who gunned down four Israelis at the nearby settlement of Otniel last Friday.

Meanwhile, Israel's Central Elections Committee barred a leading Arab-Israeli MP and former advisor to Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat from running in the elections.

Ahmed Tibi was stripped of his right to stand in the polls because he allegedly "supported terrorist organizations which commit anti-Israeli attacks," committee sources said.
