There is no Hadeeth with this meaning Fatwa No: 191741

Dear brother I need the meaning, explanation and narration of this hadith" MAN ARAFA (1)RABBAHU FIY NAFSIHI, FA HUWA SIRKUN, (2) WA MAN ARAFA RABBAHU FIY QALBIY FA HUWA MUHMINUN, and (3) WA MAN ARAFA RABBAHU FIY RUHI, FA HUWA ARIFUN. I took this hadith in our local social network with explanation in our local dialect. I need your explanation in English... THANT YOU.. JAJAKALLAHUKHYRAN
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
There is no Hadeeth with this meaning. We found similar words reported by Ismaa‘eel Haqqi in his (Sufi) Tafseer entitled, Rooh Al-Bayaan, quoting Imaam Al-Ghazaali. Ismaa‘eel Haqqi did not mention any explanation to this quote nor did he attribute it to any of Al-Ghazaali’s books. We also could not find it in any of his (Al-Ghazaali’s) books, so we are unable to clarify its meaning.
Anyway, there is no great benefit in occupying one’s self with such things. Rather, the Muslim is tasked with directing his attention to studying the texts of the Quran and the authentic Sunnah and to refer that study to reliable sources. As for a social network, it is not such a source.
Allaah Knows best.
