All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
We have not come across any Hadeeth with the meaning which you mentioned in the question.
As regards the prayer on Thursday, we have come across a Hadeeth quoted by Al-Ghazaali in Ihyaa' ‘Uloom Ad-Deen, and its wording is as follows: "Whoever prays two Rak‘ahs on Thursday between Thuhr and ‘Asr, and recites in the first Rak‘ah Soorah Al-Faatihah and Aayah al-Kursi (Quran 2:255) one hundred times, and recites in the second Rak’ah Al-Faatihah and Soorah Al-Ikhlaas (Quran 112) one hundred times, and exalts the mention of Prophet Muhammad one hundred times, Allaah will give him the reward of one who fasts Rajab, Sha‘baan and Ramadan, and one gets the same reward as the one who performs pilgrimage to the House, and a good deed will be written for him in the amount of every one who believes in Allaah and relies on Him.”
In his citation of the Ahaadeeth in Ihyaa' ‘Uloom Ad-Deen, Al-‘Iraaqi said: "It was reported by Abu Moosa Al-Madeeni with a very weak chain of narrators."
Another narration related by Abu Hurayrah reads: "Whoever prays two Rak‘ahs on Wednesday night (i.e. the night preceding Thursday), between Maghrib and ‘Isha' and recites in each Rak‘ah Al-Faatihah, Aayah al-Kursi, Soorah Al-Ikhlaas five times, Soorah Al-Kaafiroon (Quran 109) five times, Soorah Al-Falaq (Quran 113) five times and Soorah An-Naas (Quran 114) five times, and when he finishes the Tashahhud, seeks forgiveness, and he intends the reward of this for his parents, then he has fulfilled the right of his parents even if he was not kind and dutiful to them."
Ibn 'Arraaq al-Kinaani said about this Hadeeth in Tanzeeh Ash-Sharee'ah: "It includes Al-hasan ibn 'Uthmaan ibn Ziyaad who is a fabricator, i.e. a liar."
Allaah Knows best.
