Answer

All perfect praise be to Allah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

The scholars differed in opinion about the narrator that you are asking about, who is Yazeed ibn Abdur-Rahmaan ad-Dalani whose nickname is Abu Khaled.

The summary of their view about him is what Ibn Hajar said in at-Taqreeb: “He is truthful but he makes so many mistakes, and used to resort to Tadlees.” [End of quote]

[Tadlees means to report a narration from someone as if one has heard it directly from the narrator while in reality he did not]

This means that he is weak, but he is accepted in regard to other narrations reported by another narrator from the same Companion about the same Hadeeth, and in regard to the same Hadeeth narrated by another Companion with the same wording or same meaning.

Allah Knows best.
