What is the name of the wife of Abu Bakr, may Allaah be pleased with him?
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.
Abu Bakr had two wives, the name of the first one is Da'd or Zaynab bint 'Aamir; it is also said that she was daughter of ‘Ubayd ibn Dahmaan. Her nickname was Umm Rummaan, and she was the mother of ‘Aa’ishah . See Al-Isaabah, 7: 636. The name of the second wife was Habeebah bint Khareejah ibn Zayd Al-Khazrajiyyah. She was the mother of his daughter Umm Kulthoom. Abu Bakr died while she was still pregnant with her. (Al-Isaabah, 7: 575).
Allaah Knows best.
