What are the two ways in which the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, demonstrated his faith in the Battle of Uhud?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and Messenger.

The power of the faith of the Prophet emerged in the Battle of Uhud in many stances; some of them are as follows:

1) In his saying: “It does not suit a Prophet to take off his shield after he has worn it.” [Ahmad from Jaabir ]

2) In his perseverance in the battlefield at the stage when many of his Companions turned their backs and fled. Only seven persons from the Ansaar (the Helpers) and two from the Emigrants remained with him as reported in the book of Imaam Muslim .
