Is it right to use abbreviations like: Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), other Prophets (AS), Companions (RA)?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

As for using abbreviations such as (AS), and (RAA), it is disliked according to a group of scholars including Ibn As-Salah and An-Nawawi .
