Salam First time I went for UMRA. When I saw Kaba first time I made dua but I did not cry. People are telling me that my heart is like rock that’s why I did not cry. I am so confused, is it like that?and second thing is it true whatever we make dua when we saw first time kaba, it will be Accepted by Allah. Please clarify.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Crying when sighting the Ka'bah may be evidence of having a soft heart; however, nor crying when seeing it, does not necessarily imply that one is hard-hearted. Nonetheless, not crying at circumstances or places which incite people to cry could be evidence of having an insensitive heart.

We ask Allaah to rectify our hearts and deeds.
