It also did not identify the nationalities of the victims and the exact place of the incident, saying, it is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
Meantime, a spokesman of NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in west Afghanistan in talks with Xinhua confirmed that a roadside bomb struck a vehicle of the military alliance in Gulistan district of Farah province Saturday morning, killing four Italian soldiers.
