All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
First of all, you should know that the delay in getting married is not necessarily caused by magic and the like. However, if you predominantly think that it is due to magic, then you should perform Ruqyah on yourself. For more benefit on how to treat magic, the conditions of Ruqyah, and the difference between sorcery and treatment with the Quran, please refer to Fataawa 6347, 82918 and 4310.
If a person performs Ruqyah on himself, then this is more likely to be performed sincerely. The Prophet used to perform Ruqyah on his own self. ‘Aa’ishah said: "When the Prophet went to bed, he used to blow into his hands while reciting Chapters 112, 113 and 114 altogether, and then he would wipe over his face and over wherever his hands could reach of his body." [Al-Bukhari]
Besides, ‘Aa’ishah said that when the Prophet suffered from an illness, he used to recite Chapters 113 and 114 and blow [into his hands and wipe over his body], and when he was very sick, I used to recite for him and wipe over his body with his own hands out of seeking their [his hands'] blessings.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Also, it is permissible to ask someone else to perform Ruqyah on you, but one should go to someone who is known to be a righteous person and you should avoid people who are believed to practice magic when treating a bewitched person.
Finally, the following two matters should be mentioned:
1 - A Muslim should be patient upon the affliction that befalls him, as there is much good in patience; for more benefit on the excellence of patience, please refer to Fatwa 85445.
2 - The scholars clarified the method of treating love sickness; for more benefit, please refer to Fatwa 92148.
Allaah Knows best.
