Is Al-Mahdi really our Prophet 'Eesa or is he another Prophet?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His slave and messenger.

Al-Mahdi is not the prophet ‘Eesa (Jesus) or any other messenger. He is not Muhammad Ibn Al-Hasan Al-‘Askari either.  Al-Mahdi is Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdullaah, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, from the side of Faatimah .  He is a pious man who would rule for seven years and spread justice and people will be showered by the blessings of Allaah.

He will come from the east (Ancient Syria) and when he arrives into Makkah, people would pledge allegiance to him.

Al-Mahdi is the who will be leading the people when ‘Eesa will descend.
