All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Saying to your wife ‘I am leaving you and going to my dad's house’ is not an explicit statement of divorce; so divorce does not take place without having the intention of divorce. For more benefit, please refer to Fataawa 92476 and 121973.
As regards your statement ‘that you may be divorced from me...’, it does not lead to divorce as it is an expression of doubt. However, we advise you to avoid Waswasah (obsessive whispers) and not get carried away with them as they lead to unpleasant consequences. For more benefit, kindly refer to Fatwa 119544.
Allaah Knows best.
