What is the ruling on seeing the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, in a vision? I have seen him with the Companions three times

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

It was narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said that whoever sees him in a dream has indeed seen him because Shaytaan (Satan) cannot impersonate him, and whoever tells a lie about him, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, intentionally has reserved his seat in Hell. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim and others]

With regard to the interpretation of this vision, you may ask people who are experienced in this field, because no one in our team is devoted to this purpose.
