Please advise whether Guinea Hen Meat is halal eat.You can see the Pictures of Guinea hen in Google. As your earlier response was not clear hence Please advise.

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

The Guinea hen is lawful to eat just like all other birds that do not have claws. The evidence of the permissibility of eating hen or chicken meat is that Abu Moosa Al-Ash’ari related that food that included chicken was being served and there was a man among them who did not approach the food, so he (Abu Moosa) told him: Come and eat, as I have indeed seen the Prophet eating chicken. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Ibn Hajar said: “This is evidence that it is permissible to eat chicken, whether it is domestic or wild, and there is no difference of opinion on this among the scholars, except for those who employ obsessiveness in their attention to detail in the name of piety."
