What is the ruling on a woman who killed herself because she was about to be raped?

All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, is His Slave and Messenger.

A woman is not permitted to kill herself, even if she is almost certain that she would be raped by a person or a group.
